The park features a playground, a large flat grassed area great for ball games, public toilets, street banner poles and public art. A childcare centre is located in the park off Frances Street.

• Arthur Byrne Reserve

  Arthur Byrne Reserve is a large grassed beachside park located directly adjacent to Maroubra Beach. It has many grassed areas screened by native trees and shrubs, making it an ideal location for a BBQ or picnic. Larger and more open areas are used for kite flying, informal ball sports, walking and jogging. Park facilities include picnic shelters, BBQs, bubblers, beach access and toilets and change rooms in the surf lifesaving club house. The Maroubra Skate Park is located within the reserve. There is also a free outdoor gym which contains a wide range of strength and cardio equipment. Alcohol is prohibited at Arthur Byrne Reserve from sunset to sunrise. Public toilets are located on the Maroubra Beach promenade.

  Bob Clarke RSL Memorial is on Anzac Parade, Malabar and features a memorial to Bob Clarke, President, Treasurer and Life Member of Malabar RSL Sub Branch. It is a tribute to those of the Malabar/Matraville District who made the supreme sacrifice in the cause of freedom. Two cannons flank the memorial. They were cast in 1843 and originally formed part of the Fort Macquarie armaments.

  Chifley Sports Reserve is one of the largest sporting reserves in area and an important recreational space for the residents living in the southern suburbs. A range of winter and summer sports are played here.   Randwick Environment Park comprises 13 hectares of parkland, bushland and wetland. The bushland and wetland provides valuable habitat for native birds, lizards, frogs and mammals. More than 90 species of indigenous plants have been identified to date. The Park contains 3.6 hectares of Eastern Suburbs Banksia Scrub, an endangered ecological community, and is also home to the endangered Sunshine Wattle. The park, originally part of the Randwick Army Barracks, opened in 2010.
