To receive approval for monumental mason work to be carried out at Randwick General Cemetery, you need to undertake the following steps:

1. Complete the Application to carry out Memorial Mason Work PDF, 542.68 KB or a copy can be requested by contacting Council.
2. Submit the form by email or in person and pay the relevant fee.

This form is to be completed and signed by the Owner of the Deed of Grant of the Exclusive Right of Burial and the Memorial Mason for every kind of work proposed to be carried out in relation to a memorial at Randwick General Cemetery.

Memorials must not be erected, nor shall any additional work be carried out to a memorial/headstone unless the Memorial Mason Application Form has been approved by Council.

Once all necessary documents have been submitted, you will be sent an email or letter from Council to confirm that work can be carried out in the cemetery.

Fees and charges

• Monumental Mason's Fees – Ordinary Graves – approval to erect monument over grave - $92.00 per item
• Monumental Mason's Fees – Vault Section – approval to erect an enclosure - $273.00 per item
