Snap Send Solve app

Snap Send Solve is the quick and easy way to notify Council of any issues you see around Randwick City, included damaged footpaths, dumped rubbish, broken playground equipment, potholes, graffiti or abandoned cars.

The app, which is free to download on Apple and Android phones, allows users to take a photo of an issue or provide feedback and send it to Council straight away. Your phone’s GPS will tag the location of the problem so Council will know where to find it.

The app also integrates with our Customer Service software, so it is sent to the relevant team straight away and can be responded to in a timely manner.

You’ll be provided with a Customer Request Number so you can follow up if you have further enquiries.

Previously, Randwick Council offered a similar service through its MyRandwick app, however this app was discontinued in July 2020. Snap Send Solve allows residents to once again report issues from their phone.

Issues such as burst water pipes or faulty streetlights can also be reported direct to relevant authorities such as Sydney Water or Ausgrid.

Snap Send Solve is not the only means of communicating with Council. Residents can also report issues by calling us on 02 9093 6000 or 1300 722 542, sending an email to council@randwick.nsw.gov.au or filling out a form on our website.

How does it work?

Reports using Snap Send Solve take less than 30 seconds to make.

  1. Open the App
  2. Confirm your location
  3. Select the Incident Type
  4. Take a photo of the issue
  5. Fill out notes and any additional fields
  6. Send report

MyRandwick app

The myRandwick app was launched by Randwick Council in 2012 and at the time was a leading customer-centric approach to service delivery for local government.

One of the reasons Randwick Council created the app was because it contained innovative functionality that at the time could not be achieved on our website. Since this time, we have significantly invested in updating and improving our website interface to the point where it is now easier to use and contains the myRandwick functionality and more. In addition, the technology the myRandwick app was originally built upon has changed and this means that keeping the app running would require significant cost and work to upgrade. Given this cost, and the fact that our website functionality has increased, we have decided to decommission the app and focus our work on providing a single customer digital interface to Council in the coming years.

The app is now unavailable from app stores. We thank you for downloading and using myRandwick over the years.

You can access all services on our website.
