Alfresco Randwick on-road activation on Coogee Bay Road & Clovelly Road

In accordance with the Roads Act 1993, the Alfresco Randwick Program trial ‘on road’ activation is classified as the use of a footway or public open space, as an outdoor dining area associated with lawful food and drink premises. Council proposes to grant a temporary Licence on the roadway for two businesses as set-out below.

  • Location: On-road space at Shop 1/231 Clovelly Rd, Clovelly NSW 2031 & 101 Coogee Bay Rd, Coogee NSW 2034
  • Term of Proposed Licence: 12 months commencing May 2026 and expires 18 May 2027.
  • Proposed Licensee: Bohaus Coogee and Tuga Pastries Clovelly.
  • Purpose of Proposed Licence: The site shall be used by the Licensee for the operation of outdoor dining space, provision of food and beverage.

UNDER SECTION 47 OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1993 LICENCE OF COMMUNITY LAND

Part Bardon Park Reserve Licence

In accordance with Section 47 of the Local Government Act 1993, Council proposes to grant a Licence for the premises on the land known as Part Bardon Park Reserve as set-out below.

Land: Property known as 3 Smithfield Avenue, Coogee, being Part Bardon Park Reserve (R89182).
Term of Proposed Licence: Three (3) years. Commences 1 July 2026 and expires 31 June 2029.
Proposed Licensee: Coogee Croquet Club Inc (ABN 34 8006 148 552)
Purpose of Proposed Licence: The site shall be used by the Licensee as a croquet club.
