Proposed classification of land under Section 34 (2) of the Local Government Act 1993.
Notice is hereby given under the terms of the proposed resolution as to comply with Section 34 of the Local Government Act 1993, that Randwick City Council proposes to resolve to classify lots 16, 71, 80 and 81 in Strata Plan (SP) 101097 and (DP) 125697, as operational land pursuant to Division 1 of Part 2 of the Local Government Act, 1993..
The reasons for the classification of the 'operational land' is to enable Council to properly manage this property. These lots have been dedicated to Council as part of a voluntary planning agreement for rental under the terms of Council’s Affordable Rental Housing Program.
The lots to which this proposed operational land classification will relate are situated at Lot 16 at 1 Young Street Randwick and lots 71, 80 and 88 at 166 Barker Street Randwick, all in DP 125697 and Strata Plan DP 101097. The public is invited to make written submissions in respect to the proposed resolution to classify the land as 'operational land'.
Submissions, clearly headed ‘Proposed resolution to classify affordable housing lot 16 at 1 Young Street, and 70, 80, 81 at 166 Barker Street, Randwick’, can be forwarded to: Randwick City Council, 30 Frances Street, Randwick ,NSW 2030. or email to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than the close of business on the 21 May 2020.
