Access & Older Persons Advisory Committee
The Access and Older Persons Advisory Committee provides an opportunity for older residents and people with lived experience of disability to participate in discussion and offer advice on accessibility and inclusion measures for Randwick City.
Committee purpose
- to advise and support Council in matters regarding accessibility and inclusion
- provide informed local community input, and advice on the implementation of Council’s Disability Inclusion Action Plan
- identify ideas and opportunities for the Council’s consideration relating to the implementation of social programs and infrastructure projects
Committee membership
The committee is comprised of up to 13 members. This includes one Councillor and between six and 12 community representatives who identify as an older resident or having lived experience of disability or access requirements.
