Inglis Park is named after the Inglis Family who leased the Newmarket Stables from 1906 and played a vital role in Australian racing history. Inglis and Sons operated for 112 years at this site. The park is tucked between residential and commercial buildings at the Newmarket Precinct. It features an award winning playground, large recreation lawn, a beautiful wisteria arbour, seats, BBQs, drinking fountains, bike racks and lights. The public toilet is nearby at the restaurant area.
