High Cross Park is an open green space in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Randwick. It contains some large trees offering shade and there are also picnic tables and water fountains. It is home to Randwick's cenotaph, remembering all wars served by local residents.

CONSTRUCTION WORKS:
Transport for NSW is currently undertaking works in the park to build an electricity substation to support the CBD and South East Line Rail Project. The substation will be underground and the light rail terminal will be located on High Street near the intersection with Avoca St. Randwick Council has worked hard to ensure the park and war memorial is preserved and that the park is reinstated to its former condition following completion of the works.
