Kensington Park is a large district park located on the corner of Barker Street, Cottenham Avenue and Edward Avenue in Kensington. The focus of the park is Kensington Oval that caters for rugby league and cricket. The John Calopedos Memorial Playground and the new Kensington community Centre is within the park. The fenced playground has swings, slides and climbing equipment over softfall and under a shade structure.
