Coogee Oval Sportsfield features rugby union and cricket throughout the year. The facility is fully fenced with score boards, grandstands (sheltered and unsheltered) as well as canteen and change room facilities. The oval has longstanding cultural and historical links to sports and recreation in the area and it is the venue for first class sport. The oldest building within the Coogee Oval boundary is the grandstand, constructed in 1924. The other buildings are the East Ward Senior Citizens Centre, the Main Entrance Building, the Bob Clarke First Aid Centre, and the Cyril Towers Grandstand.
