Future Dreaming

An exhibition of multidisciplinary LGBTQ+ artists looking toward a radiant future.

1pm to 7pm, 17 February to 3 March
Randwick Town Hall, 90 Avoca Street Randwick

Future Dreaming
illuminates Randwick Town Hall with artwork by multidisciplinary LGBTQ+ artists to present a joyous and empowered future for community, responding to the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras theme Our Future.

Trace the floorboards of the town hall and uncover immersive installations, visionary leaders, memorial scents, future reflections and joy captured on film. The speculative futures use song, costume, pop culture, memory, ritual and manifestation to shape a vibrant collective dream.

Artists include Dennis Golding, Jamaica Moana, Victoria Atkinson, SPACEFLOSS Collective, Cat Jones, Jamie James and Robin Lao.

The opening night of Future Dreaming will be a first look at the exhibition as the Town Hall is ignited by DJ beats and live performances. Secure your place at opening night here.

Exhibition hours:
17 February to 3 March 2024
Thursday to Sunday, 1pm to 7pm

Warning: Future Dreaming includes mature themes and we advise audience discretion.
