Scores on Doors Food Hygiene Rating

Thinking about dining out in Randwick City soon? Be sure to check Scores on Doors first, the hygiene and food safety scoring program that Council operates through regular inspections of restaurants, takeaways, bakeries, bistros and cafes.

Randwick Council's Environmental Health Officers frequently visit food businesses to ensure hygiene standards are being met. When a food business achieves good to excellent standards, at an unannounced inspection, they are awarded a star rating by the inspector. A certificate is then issued by Randwick City Council and positioned in a highly visible place for customers, usually in the front window or door of the business.

Using our easy-to-use interactive online map, you can view an establishments rating (good, very good or excellent) and search for places that you are thinking about visiting. Find the map here: http://www.randwick.nsw.gov.au/services/health-environment-and-regulation/food-safety/food-safety-ratings

Scores on Doors is a voluntary program designed to promote food safety and hygiene requirements – please note, if a food business is unlisted, this is not necessarily a reflection or a statement on its hygiene standards.
