Kodie Mason is a local Dharawal woman from the La Perouse Aboriginal community. She teaches traditional Aboriginal weaving techniques that have been passed down to her through generations.

Take part in an Aboriginal cultural weaving workshop and learn the basics to weaving through an introductory class. In this workshop participants will learn about local Indigenous fibrous plants and their uses, and different styles of weaving. With the Malima team's guidance, you'll use two different weaving techniques - basket and rope - to make something special to take home.

This workshop is appropriate for ages 8+.
