Youth Advisory Committee
The Youth Advisory Committee provides an opportunity for young people to share their views on Randwick City and provide Council advice on ways to ensure the young people who live, study or work in the LGA are connected into the social, community and service networks they need to lead fulfilling lives.
Committee purpose
- to assist Council in the identification of the current interests of young people aged 12 to 24 years of age
- to support and promote activities and special projects relating to young people
- provide advice on the development and implementation of Randwick City’s Youth Plan
Committee membership
The committee is comprised of up to 16 members. This includes the Mayor, 3 Councillors and between six and 12 community representatives aged 12 to 24 years of age.
