Cultural Diversity & Equity Advisory Committee

The Cultural Diversity and Equity Advisory Committee provides an opportunity for residents of diverse cultural, linguistic or spiritual backgrounds to provide advice on social cohesion and contribute to the ongoing vibrancy of Randwick City.

Committee purpose

  • develop advice and recommendations to Council on how services and information could be made more relevant and accessible
  • develop advice to ensure residents of culturally and linguistically diverse residents have an understanding of Council’s role and responsibilities
  • receive information on Council’s development and implementation of the Social Cohesion Plan

Committee membership

The Committee is comprised of up to 16 members. This includes 5 Councillors and up to 10 community members who represent the diverse cultural, linguistic or spiritual communities of the Randwick LGA.
