Committee members of the Arts & Culture Advisory Committee

The Arts & Culture Advisory Committee (ACAC) provides an opportunity for people with creative backgrounds and expertise to participate in discussion and provide input and advice on arts and cultural matters in the Randwick LGA.

Committee purpose

  • to advise and support Council in matters regarding arts and cultural initiatives and activities
  • provide informed local community input, and advice on the development of the Council’s cultural arts policies and strategies
  • identify ideas and opportunities for the Council’s consideration relating to the implementation of its cultural arts and related educational projects

Committee membership

The committee is comprised of up to 14 members. This includes four Councillors and between six and 10 community representatives with experience in the practice of the arts or in arts administration.

The committee operates in accordance with its adopted Arts & Culture Advisory Committee Terms of Reference.

Meeting dates

The Arts and Culture Advisory Committee meets quarterly.

  • Tuesday 2 September 2025, 6pm to 8pm
  • Tuesday 16 December 2025, 6pm to 8pm

Community representative expressions of interest

Expressions of interest for community representatives were open from 14 March to 11 April 2025. Nominations were assessed by Council staff and successful community representatives appointed for the 2024-2028 term.
