Beach Breaks
Beach Breaks is a free community event that celebrates the proud and colourful surfing history and culture of Maroubra Beach. Located at Maroubra Beach Promenade (near the Cr of McKeon Street and Marine Parade) and McKeon St Plaza. This year on Sunday July 20, we enjoyed live music, stalls, food, entertainment, kids activities and much more throughout the day.
Australian Surfing Walk of Fame
The Australian Surfing Walk of Fame is a presentation that takes place during our Beach Breaks event, where the achievements and dedication of local surfers and surf lifesavers were recognised.

Surfing Southern Beaches Storm Teams Challenge
Surfing Southern Beaches Storm Teams Challenge, is a new surfing teams event that incorporates boardriders teams from Bondi through to La Perouse. Due to weather conditions on the day, the competition was postponed at Beach Breaks 2025.
