Anzac Day

Coogee Dawn Service

Anzac Day is a National day of remembrance and commemoration. Commemorative services are held each year at dawn, the time of the original Gallipoli landing.

The Coogee Anzac Day Dawn Service is produced in collaboration with the Coogee Randwick Clovelly RSL sub-Branch and was held at 5.30am on 25 April at Goldstein Reserve, Coogee.

The service included a Welcome to Country, prayer, laying of wreaths, Last Post bugle call, a minute’s silence, the New Zealand and Australian Anthems, and other special musical performances.

We would like to thank all the sub branches in Randwick City: Coogee Randwick Clovelly, Kensington, Malabar, Maroubra and Matraville, and Prince Henry Hospital Museum for their ongoing support of ANZAC Day commemorations.
