Join Sara Campbell in this fun shell art workshop and create a beautiful fish to take home with you!

Learn about the La Perouse Aboriginal Community's continuous cultural practices with Sara as she shares her knowledge and tells stories of the Mullet Run. Sara was taught the art of shellwork by her Aunty, a practice that has continued from generation to generation for over one hundred years.

Sara Campbell is proud Dharawal and Dhunghatti Woman of La Perouse. Growing up, she would go out on Country with her Uncle and Pop and learn about the land and waterways. Sara has a strong connection to coastal Sydney and shares her knowledge by teaching stories and practicing shell art, where she collects all the shells by hand.

This workshop is suited for children aged 5+. Please wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting glue or glitter on.
