New beach cameras at Maroubra, Clovelly, Coogee and Little Bay mean that you can keep en eye on the surf, sun and crowds at any time. Check it out before you head down for a swim.
Living in Randwick City means we’re lucky enough to live near the beach. And knowing what’s going on with the swell and the crowds is important business for beach goers, which is why we’re in the process of upgrading our beach cams.
In the past, our beach cams have shown a series of still photographs that were updated every 15 - 30 minutes. Yet now, we can show a live stream of our beaches so you know exactly what’s going on at that very second.
The cameras are a great way of checking the surf before you go for surf. They can also be used by swimmers and rock fishers to determine the conditions at the beach.
