Randwick Mayor Noel D’Souza has offered his prayers and solidarity to the people of France today, in the wake of the terror attack in Nice.

Mayor D’Souza was in La Perouse yesterday to mark Bastille Day with the French Community of Randwick City – a celebration which affirms the shared values of freedom, equality and democracy.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by this senseless tragedy, in Nice and here in Randwick City.

“As a sign of respect and our solidarity with our French friends, the Town Hall will be lit up tonight in blue, white and red, and the French flag flown at half-mast,” said The Mayor.
