Coogee Nights is coming!

Randwick Council is delighted to announce a new series of open street vibrancy events that will activate the heart of Coogee Village, closing the street from Arden to Brook Streets and opening it up to live music, play and games, a chill zone, and the opportunity for the many businesses to extend their trade and profile to a wider community.

Developed in consultation with the local businesses and community, and part-funded by the State Government, each Coogee Nights event will feature three zones: a live “music zone” stage at the Coogee Beach end, a fun 'play' zone in the central area with interactives and games, and a chill zone at the western end with a silent disco and silent cinema.

Each night will have an overarching theme, guiding the selection of music and activities. The program is as follows:

• Launch! Wednesday 4 March 5.30pm – 9pm – 'Carnivale'
• Wednesday 18 March 5.30pm – 9pm – 'Sideshow'
• Wednesday 1 April 5.30pm – 9pm – 'Boogie Nights’
• Wednesday 15 April 5.30pm – 9pm – 'Beach Party’

Please note Coogee Bay Road will be closed (from Arden St and Brook St) from 3pm - 11pm each night, with the event running 5.30 – 9pm.

The Opening Night on 4 March 2026 will launch with a Welcome to Country, and including a speech from the Mayor.
