Coogee Winter Nights
Coogee Winter Nights will return on Wednesday 22 July 2026!
Coogee Bay Road will come alive with an exciting open street evening event of Fire and Ice-themed entertainment, activities and extended outdoor dining, transforming the iconic beachside precinct into a vibrant winter destination from 5.30 pm to 9.00 pm, a section of Coogee Bay Road between Arden Street and Brook Street will be closed to traffic, creating space for outdoor dining, family-friendly activities, live entertainment and unique winter experiences.
Visitors can enjoy three activation zones throughout the event:
- Live Entertainment Zone at the beach end, featuring free performances and music.
- Fire and Ice Activity Zone in the central area, with fire pits and ice themed performers
- Winter Chill Zone at the western end, offering relaxed spaces to unwind and enjoy winter themed kids movies at the outdoor Silent Cinema
Local restaurants, cafés and retailers will extend into the street, creating a lively outdoor dining and shopping experience. Coogee Winter Nights builds on the success of Coogee Nights and has been developed in consultation with local businesses and the community.
This is a glass free event.

ROAD CLOSURES: Coogee Bay Road (from Arden St and Brook St) will be closed from 3pm to 11 pm, with the event running from 5.30pm to 9pm.
