Winter Solstice marks the shortest day and the longest night of the year. It symbolises the rebirth of the sun and the gradual return of light and warmth, bringing with it, the promise of spring. Many people take this time to reflect on the past year, express gratitude, and set intentions for the future. It's a beautiful opportunity for introspection and renewal amidst the stillness of winter.
Lighting lanterns on the night of the Winter Solstice represents warmth and light during the longest night of the year.
