Do you know an outstanding community member who deserves to be recognised? Randwick City Council is calling out for nominations for the 2024 Community Service Awards, Randwick Mayor Philipa Veitch announced today.

“These annual awards give us the opportunity to recognise the impressive achievements and invaluable contributions of some of our most inspiring and generous residents,” said Mayor Veitch.

“It’s wonderful to celebrate the local groups and individuals who selflessly give their time to enrich community life in our City. They lead by example, encouraging us all to get more involved.”

This year’s award categories are:

• Community Service Award (Individual)
• Community Service Award (Group)
• Community Service Award (Youth)
• Achievement Award for People with Disabilities

Nominations are open now and close at midnight on Sunday 5 November 2023. More details about eligibility and nominations can be found on the Community Service Award section of Council's website.
