The constant changes that we’re all experiencing, day by day, week by week during the COVID-19 pandemic can create confusion and anxiety.

If you find yourself feeling this way – stressed, scared or worried – I want you to know you’re not alone. This is not normal for any of us. Whatever you’re feeling is okay. It’s okay to not know how to homeschool your child. It’s okay to not feel motivated to work out at home or start a new hobby. It’s okay to not feel okay.

We’re looking for ways that we can work with support agencies who can help people who are struggling, to make sure they can access the services they need and continue to feel part of our community.

Keep an eye on our website for updates.

We’ve created Community Care Cards that you can drop into a neighbour’s letterbox to see if they’re okay or need any help. You can download and print them or order some from our website.

We’re constantly checking in on the health and happiness of our own staff as they continue to carry out essential services. We’re ensuring that their work environment is as safe and healthy as possible.

If you see them as you take a quick stroll, wave hello (from a distance) and let them know you see them and appreciate them. It’s these small acts of kindness that can make a big difference during these intimidating times.
