In this workshop, Victoria Spence and members of the Life Rites team will guide us on how to begin conversations about the most important time in our lives.
Drawing from lived experience and professional experience, they will share their knowledge and information to help us know what is important to us and those we love.
You will hear from:
- Ben Gibson: The Masculine Response to Death - Ben discusses how gender can influence our responses.
- Kim Somerville: Reflections from an end-of-life doula and after death home care - Kim reflects upon the support an end-of-life doula can provide during the journey.
- Chantel Jurcevic: Caring for the Carers - Chantel shares insights and wisdom of how we can better support our carers.
- Victoria Spence: Tending to your Mortality Garden - Victoria will offer us ways to continue to care for ourselves and our mortality garden.
