Future Dreaming illuminates Randwick Town Hall with artwork by multidisciplinary LGBTQ+ artists to present a joyous and empowered future for community, responding to the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras theme Our Future.
Trace the floorboards of the town hall and uncover immersive installations, visionary leaders, memorial scents, future reflections and joy captured on film. The speculative futures use song, costume, pop culture, memory, ritual and manifestation to shape a vibrant collective dream.
Artists include Victoria Atkinson, SPACEFLOSS Collective, Dennis Golding, Jamie James, Cat Jones, Robin Lao and Jamaica Moana.
Join us for our public program, Wisely Queer, as we explore the powerful life narratives bonding our communities' past, present, and future. 6pm to 7pm, Friday 23 February.
