Wisely Queer brings together four fabulous 50+ queers for an evening of storytelling.

Journey from oppression to joy and radical self-expression as candid conversations engulf Randwick Town Hall for one night.

Revel in creative collective action as LGBTQI people create chosen families and transformative futures.

Speakers include:

Uncle Graham Simms aka Nana Miss Koori
From rural NSW to international stages, Nana Miss Koori is a well-respected champion for queer and First Nations community. The impact of Uncle Graham Simms can be felt everywhere from art spaces, to local bars and global stages.

Lexie Bradfield
A trailblazer within the queer nightlife world, Lexie Bradfield  was the first woman to DJ at Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras and Sleaze Ball. Pivotal in creating space for women and lesbian DJs, Lexie has contributed to queer spaces worldwide.

Rene Rivas
Multi-award winning designer Rene Rivas' whose creations can be seen across stage, television, print and screen as well as major events including the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras parade and the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games ceremonies.  Across his career he has worked with Sydney icons including Peter Tully, Doris Fish, Ron Muncaster and Jeanne Little.

Jax North
An illuminating creative producer, Jax North has crafted immersive installations that transform historical spaces. Their work creates vibrant platforms for storytelling, sweeping across heritage sites with new narratives. Jax has curated Wisely Queer and will be hosting the discussion.
