We are committed to planting as many trees as possible to meet our Environmental Strategy PDF, 5459.36 KB target of 40% canopy cover. We encourage residents to request an appropriate tree for planting outside their own home on the nature strip or verge. This is a free Council service.
How to apply
Please complete our online form. Look up your address, select "tree" as the issue you would to report, and let us know where we can plant a tree.

This form will be stored electronically in Council's electronic document management system. Access to this information is restricted to Randwick City Council officers. Our Officers will attend the site and look at as may planting opportunities as possible surrounding your property and get back to you to let you know the result.
Randwick only conducts planting in the cooler months to ensure the greatest chance of success for our trees.
Requests for new trees will be fulfilled in the subsequent March – August period depending on species availability.
