Death is a part of life, yet many of us don’t have opportunities to talk openly about it.
Join us in a welcoming and safe space to explore conversations about all things to do with death and dying. Topics include burial options, sustainability, advance care planning, dying at home, living wakes, death doulas and a whole lot more!
Everyone is welcome to listen, share and connect with others in the community.
The session will be co-facilitated by:
Joanna McIIveen,
Public Health Palliative Care Project Lead – The BEACON Project (Building End of Life Awareness, Compassion & Outreach Networks) within the South-eastern Sydney Local Health District.
Arianne Lazar
Acting Grief and Bereavement Coordinator within the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District.
Age Suitability: 18+
Warning Details: Will contain adult themes and death themes (death and dying will be discussed).
This is not a grief counselling session
A partnership between Randwick, Waverley and Woollahra Councils and South Eastern Sydney Local Health District. Building a compassionate community with every conversation.
