Now in Week 6 of our ten‑week custom design workshop, young people aged 12–24 are diving deeper into hands‑on creative expression. This week’s focus is all about transforming protective gear into bold, personalised fashion pieces that blend practicality with street‑style flair.
Led by local street artist Joe, founder of SignsbyJoe, participants are exploring new ways to customise items using stencils, spray paint, freehand techniques, fabric markers and more. Joe continues to guide attendees through each stage of the creative process, helping them turn a standard hi‑vis vest into a unique wearable artwork.
This session encourages young people to refine their ideas, experiment with materials, and bring their visual concepts to life through practical creation.
