Construction of the shade structure at Heffron Park's netball courts is approaching a key milestone, with the first three courts expected to be completed by the end of November.

The main frame of the structure is now in place and installation of the shade fabric has commenced, marking significant progress for the project.

Upcoming work includes the finalisation of a new 3-metre-wide footpath along the southern end of the courts, final turf restoration around the area, a new surface and line marking and the addition of a water refill station.

Gutters and downpipes will also be installed to ensure durability and functionality.
