Fixed Site Application for MFVV

Application for a monthly fixed site for Mobile Food Vending Vehicles (Food Trucks & Food Vans)

Randwick City Council is trialling a limited number of permanent sites for Mobile Food Vending Vehicles (MFVVs)  to operate on a monthly rotational basis. These sites are located near popular beach areas. EOIs to apply for a site will be available online monthly, and are due at the end of the 1st week of the preceding month. The 3 locations are:

  1. Clovelly Carpark
  2. Yarra Bay Carpark
  3. Malabar Beach Fisherman’s Road Boat Ramp Carpark

Site Fees

Site fees are as follows, and are payable in advance by the successful operator of each site

TIME PERIODCOST PER MONTH (inc. GST)
Peak (1 December to 31 March)$2,240.00
Off Peak  (1 April to 30 November)$1,680.00

Terms & Conditions

I have read and understand the terms and conditions:

  • I understand that if an approval is issued I am required to keep a copy of my approval on me at all times whilst trading in the Randwick City Government Area and show it on request to any Authorised Council Officer.
  • I certify that all information provided is true and correct in every detail. I understand that if the information provided is not true and correct, Randwick City Council may refuse my application.
  • I understand that by completing and submitting this application does not mean that I can begin to operate. Operation may only commence once formal approval has been issued.
  • I understand that if my application is accepted and approval is issued, a random inspection on my food truck and/or food premises may be undertaken and applicable fees will be payable as outlined in Councils Fees and Charges.

Applications will be assessed monthly based on the applicant’s responses to the following criteria, as per the MFVV policy. All MFVV applicants must have a valid Temporary Food Premises Permit (TFP).
