Creative III - an exhibition of HSC major works: January - March 2015
The intention of Creative is to showcase the talents and achievements of HSC students, with a connection to the local area, in a variety of subjects. The first ‘Creative’ was launched in 2013.
This year’s exhibition displayed works from eight different students and included over 70 individual pieces. The students attended a range of schools: Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (OLSH) - Kensington; Randwick Girls High School; St Clare’s College; and South Sydney High School.
The works were submitted for marking in Visual Arts and Textiles in the 2014 HSC. The works included a variety of media: photography, film, costume, painting, water colour painting, mixed media collage, drawing and sculpture.
The marketing image seen on all of the publicity for the third Creative exhibition was a piece of mixed media collage from Gwyneth Iolantha Esteban’s body of work Mnemonic Devices.
