Service Upgrade: Library Management System Transition 23 February to 5 March

Randwick City Library is upgrading to a new, modern Library Management System (LMS) to provide a faster, more intuitive experience for our members. From Monday 23 February to Thursday 5 March, there will be significant service interruptions across our libraries as we prepare for this launch.
Before you visit the library, please make sure you read the information below. We will update this page regularly.
Available and unavailable services during the upgrade:
Borrowing and returns
- Borrowing will be available for existing members from the circulation desk only. Please have your library card ready or know your Library membership ID/barcode.
- No items are due for return during this period.
- Please do not return items during this time.
Services that will be available
- Members who have previously used these services will still be able to access (with intermittent access from 24 to 26 February):
- Public computers
- Study room bookings
- Photocopiers, inclusive of printing, copying, scanning facilities
- Adding funds to existing print accounts
- Public WiFi will be available
- All events and activities will run as usual
Services that will be unavailable
There will be no access to the following online and in-house library services:
- Your library account: no logging in through the website or catalogue
- Randwick City Library App
- Library catalogue
- Placing, suspending, or managing holds
- Renewing items
- Registering for a new library membership
- Staff won't be able to assist with information on member credentials, loan records or hold details
eResources
- There will be very limited access to many eResources, including eBooks, Audiobooks, eNewspapers and streaming content.
JP service
- There will be no JP service from Saturday 21 February to Friday 6 March.
