Sunday 8 October marked the Official Opening of our Splash Park!

We were joined by our Newly Elected Randwick Council Mayor Philipa Veitch, along with Councillors and special guests.  Our opening ceremony kicked off with a speech from the Mayor, followed by the cutting of the ribbon and the unveiling of the plaque.

The day was packed with family friendly activities, including kids entertainment, roving performers, face painting more. Safe to say our Splash park was receiving good use on its first day of operation!

Our Splash park is designed for children ages 18 months to 12 years, featuring a suite of in-ground and above-ground structures, including slides, water sprays, surf cannons, a dump bucket and more! The design also includes new landscaping and new seating areas for parents and carers to supervise their children.

Designed with sustainability in mind, the new splash park uses a water circulation system that prioritises water conservation. The system recycles and reuses water, allowing up to 95% of used water to be recovered.
