Cleaning our beaches
Randwick City Council provides regular waste collection and cleaning for all our local beaches as well as litter and recycling bins. Our programs include weekly Cleaning of our Ocean Pools.
We work hard to keep our beautiful beaches and ocean pools clean for all residents and visitors to enjoy.

Clean Up Australia Day 2023
Will you help us keep Randwick clean? Make a difference this Clean Up Australia day on Sunday 5 March 2023 by hosting or attending a clean up event.
Join in Australia's biggest community participation event where everyone is welcome! Get your clean up team together and register your site now. You can host or join a site on the day to meet other like-minded people and help make Randwick a clean and safe place.
Clean Up Australia Day is held on the first Sunday of March every year and encourages people to clean up their local areas. Participants can host or attend clean ups organised by local community groups, which can be found on the Clean Up Australia website.
The annual Clean Up Australia Day was first started 20 years ago by founder and Chairman Ian Kiernan AO, who passed away on 16 October 2018. Australians have devoted 36 million hours to cleaning up the environment, through Clean Up Australia Day removing the equivalent of more than 380,000 ute loads of rubbish.
Register now at Clean Up Australia Day or call 1800 282 329 for more information.
Randwick Council will support by collecting all the rubbish that is picked up by your team.
