Project snapshot

• Project summary: The playground at Fitzpatrick Park, Kensington is being upgraded to create a new playspace where children of all ages, abilities and cultural backgrounds can play and stay.
• Dates: Fitzpatrick Park Playground is restarting again on Monday, 15th of May 2023, expected to complete by the end of June 2023.

Key Features

Following consultation with the local users of the park, we have designed a playground with:

• Install new paving
• Install playground equipment and rubber softfall
• Install new fencing, bike hoops, picnic tables and drinking fountain
• Install new tree, shrub and groundcovers

Construction

During the construction phase there will be no access to the playground. The nearest alternative playgrounds are Kokoda Park Playground and John Calopedos Memorial Playground. We thank you for your understanding.
