Celebrate History Week 2021 by joining award-winning author Anita Heiss as she discusses her latest novel Bila Yarrudhanggalangdhuray, an engrossing portrayal of love, loss and belonging on Wiradjuri country.

Based on true events and tying perfectly with this year's History Week theme ‘From the Ground Up’, Bila Yarrudhanggalangdhuray is an enthralling portrayal of love, loss and belonging on Wiradjuri country by the Murrumbidgee River – where dreams are either made or broken.

About the Author:

Dr Anita Heiss is the author of non-fiction, historical fiction, commercial women's fiction, poetry, social commentary and travel articles. She is a regular guest at writers' festivals and travels internationally performing her work and lecturing on aboriginal literature. She is a lifetime ambassador of the indigenous literacy foundation and a proud member of the Wiradjuri nation of Central NSW.
