Women's Day Art Prize 2016

March - April 2016

International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future. Randwick City Council's International Women's Day Art Prize and Exhibition provides a platform for women who live, go to school, or work in Randwick City to showcase their achievements and creativity. This event is the Council's way of recognising and celebrating the important contributions women make to families, workplaces and communities. The Council is pleased to present this souvenir catalogue of works submitted by our inspirational local artists. The 2016 Randwick City Council's International Women's Day Art Prize is hosted by Councillor Lindsay Shurey and Councillor Kathy Neilson.

1st Prize: Coastal Vista by Jan Cook

2nd Prize: Green Man by Lyn Campbell

3rd Prize: Litchfield Swimming Hole by Betty Rowner

12 - 19 years category

1st Prize: Marrow Graves by Yasmin Carter

2nd Prize: Aspire by Jasmine Trindall

3rd Prize: Reach for the Sky by Pia Michalandos
