ENJOY UP TO 2 HOURS  AT THE  LIBRARY PER PERSON  PER DAY

We are committed to keeping our community and staff safe. We have created and follow a Covid Safety Plan and are registered as a COVID Safe business with NSW Health Department. As part of our Covid Safety Plan patrons can enjoy access to the library for up to 2 hours per person per day.

Covid Safety Plan Registration is mandatory for hospitality venues such as cafes, restaurants, food and drink premises, micro-breweries, cellar doors, casinos, registered clubs, small bars and casinos. For other types of businesses, registration is optional but recommended. Here is a link to find out more

From 1 July 2020, overdue fines no longer exist at Randwick City Library. You won't be fined for overdue items, provided they are returned to us in a reasonable condition. Lost and damaged item fees as well as interlibrary-loan fees still apply.

If you have an overdue item your membership will be suspended.  Read more about these changes here

NEW ELECTRONIC SECURITY ROLLER DOOR INSTALLED AT LIONEL BOWEN

Library staff are particularly excited about this new addition at Lionel Bowen as the current manually operated security roller door is quite cumbersome, requiring two staff to manage it.  This new electronic roller door feature brings additional security measures for public safety outside of library opening hours.

We expect it to be in operation before end of August.
