From the 5th to the 13th of September, we'll be celebrating History Week at Randwick City Library! This year's theme is History: What is it good for? To celebrate, we've got two awesome online history talks lined up.
- Behind the Fences of Randwick – An Evening with Cr Kathy Neilson: Join Randwick City Councillor, Kathy Neilson as she reprises her research on the "hidden history" behind the fences of Randwick. She'll present her fascinating research to a live online audience as a celebration of our rich local heritage.
- An Evening with Dr Marjorie O'Neil – My Family History: Join Dr Marjorie O'Neill, MP for Coogee, as she shares her family history. Dr O'Neill will document what it was like growing up in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney and the changes she has noticed since her childhood. Join us for an evening of nostalgia and family history from our current Member for Coogee.
