This consultation has concluded. All feedback is being considered by Council and our heritage consultants.

As part of Council's Vision 2040 plan to review and update our planning controls, we are conducting a review of heritage items and heritage conservation areas in the residential parts of Randwick City.

The heritage review will be conducted by an independent, professional heritage consultant inline with heritage significance criteria established by Heritage NSW.

The review is an opportunity to evaluate our existing conservation areas and items and consider any additional places of heritage value worth preserving.

To help us start this process, we are asking the community for your knowledge and insight into places in Randwick City that have heritage value to you. Use our interactive map to learn more about existing heritage items and areas and to offer suggestions for new places to consider.

All feedback received will be reviewed by our heritage consultants as part of a detailed assessment process. Places will only proceed to further assessment if they are found to have heritage value.

Consultation period: 29 January 2020 to 26 February 2020.
