At DRLC we are eagerly awaiting the word from NSW Government saying that we can re-open, in the hope that we can get back to teaching your children to be confident and safe in the water just in time for Summer!
The last 2 years have been a rollercoaster of COVID-19 restrictions and lockdowns which have resulted in many children not being able to access vital learn to swim lessons. The Sydney Morning Herald reported on 18 August that drowning rates last summer increased by 30%. This was alongside a 40% decline in Learn to Swim enrolments across NSW. This is a sad story on the back of there being so much uncertainty in the world!
With recent announcements from the NSW Government about the road map towards reopening venues, the team at DRLC are busy warming up the pool water, adjusting lane ropes and making sure all facets of our COVIDsafe plan are in place ready for your return.
Our Learn to Swim term 4 enrolments are now open and our Swim School team are waiting to answer your enquiries.
