Brush up on your landscape painting skills, or come a pick up a brush for the first time with Niki Koeppl. In this La Perouse Museum workshop on acrylic painting, you'll paint the outdoors, outdoors!

Paint the landscape that you see or be inspired by scenes from around the world. Either way you'll be sure to brush up on your painting skills or learn the fundamentals of landscape painting as fine arts teacher Niki Koeppl takes you through the work step by step. All materials will be provided on the day and you will be able to take home your A3 canvas at the end.

Please wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting paint on.

Niki Koeppl is a Sydney based Australian Artist, Fine Arts Teacher, Art Materials Sales Consultant and Product Demonstrator, Disability Support Teacher and Freelancer. Niki has acquired a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and Cert III in Multimedia. She currently runs a small business, NK ART, from her Art Studio in Matraville, providing regular adult art classes, workshops and tutorial support within the local community.

Coming from an artistic family, creativity has always played an important role her entire life. Niki primarily works as a Watercolourist, Sculptor and Portrait Artist. Painting in watercolours is a significant medium in her current art practice. Her work is inspired by studies on the human form, exploring the structure and patterns of the body and expression while mastering the fluidity of watercolours.

As a Freelance Artist, Niki provides professional artistic services where she can share her expertise, skill and knowledge of fine art materials and techniques in her classes. Niki continues to regularly exhibit in local art exhibitions, painting portrait commissions, learning and developing her creative study which she endeavours to share with her students, colleagues, friends and followers.

Please note: there are two other art workshops being held at the Museum with Niki - one on April 14 and another on April 28. If you would like to attend all of them, please buy tickets to each individual workshop. Unfortunately tickets are single-use only and do not guarantee you a place in the next fortnight's workshop.
