Hone your observational superpowers and try some innovative techniques developed by Sue!
It will be a very dynamic and engaging session where you'll learn about some quirky marine animals, study them and begin to draw natural forms. You're encouraged to also bring in objects from nature that inspire you. This may be a step toward discovering your own, unique style.
The focus will be on marine animals and their environment by observing and studying videos and images provided by Sue. These techniques will then help participants work on their own nature-inspired subjects.
This workshop is suitable for all people and ages, beginners included. Participants are welcome to bring their own drawing/illustration materials if they have a preference, otherwise basic materials will be provided by the Museum – but do bring yourself, any objects from nature that inspire you, and your enthusiasm!
Please note: this workshop will be held upstairs outside the Bayview Gallery. The Museum does not currently have disabled access up to the first floor. Please contact the Museum if you have questions or concerns regarding mobility.
