Sue Liu – known as Wildcard-Sue – was invited to show in The Bayview as her stunning marine images bring the fragile and spectacular underwater ecosystem of Kamay Botany Bay into the Museum itself.
Join Sue for the opening of her exhibition here at the La Perouse Museum's new artist space, the Bayview Gallery, and explore the underwater world brought to life by Sue's own talented hand.
Inspired by her passion for the sea and scuba diving in Sydney, Wildcard-Sue's exhibition Marine Dream in Botany Bay is sure to submerge you into an forgettable dream on the shore of the Bay. This show features 50+ original artworks, drawn using mainly a black Artline pen and Tombow markers.
Light refreshments will be served from 1pm - 3pm and Sue will say a few words at 1:30pm to formally open the show. She will be available to sell artworks and tell you more about the curious creatures featured in her drawings and how she draws. Unfortunately, all tickets have been reserved for the opening but please feel free to stop by over the course of the weekend and visit the exhibition. Sue will be present from 10am - 4pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
Please note: the Bayview Gallery is on the first floor and the Museum unfortunately does not have disability access to the upper level. If you have mobility concerns, please contact the Museum team.
