In this Living Smart course learn down-to-earth, practical ways to live better with energy, water, less waste and good food choices. We'll take an excursion into healthy home cleaning and furnishings, personal health and personal care, explore sustainable transport options and discover what community activities are happening in the Eastern Suburbs. And, we'll set goals to make this happen in our lives.

This is a course you can participate in, not just sit there and listen. There's activities, you will meet inspiring guest speakers who will make use of the sustainability displays at the Randwick Community Centre, such as the Water Wise Trail, rainwater tanks, solar energy systems, energy-reducing building fittings and the PIG - the Permaculture Interpretive Garden and learn how the new reedbed toilet works. We'll also visit the sustainability house - Barrett House and explore a native plant nursery - Randwick Council's Community Nursery.
