The Spot Festival 2023 is here to crank up the energy and bring the community together! Taking place this Sunday 26 March, community excitement has been building for this annual multicultural celebration, which will be held at the intersection of Perouse Road and St Pauls Street from 1-8pm.

“The Spot Festival is a great opportunity for everyone to come out and support local businesses, stallholders, artisans and performers,” said Randwick Mayor Dylan Parker.

There will be a variety of market stalls selling food and artisan goods, as well as a pop-up library, face painting and fun activities for kids such as a circus workshop and story time. Local restaurants will expand their alfresco dining space to add to the buzz of this end-of-summer celebration.

“Taking place at the end of Harmony Week, The Spot Festival is a vibrant example of the way multiculturalism enriches the life of our City,” said Mayor Dylan Parker.

This year’s program boasts an incredible range of performers and stallholders representing a range of different cultures and backgrounds.

The community is invited to take a culinary trip around the world by tasting the different cuisine offerings from all the stallholders such as Turkish gozleme, Italian pizza, Malaysian dishes and much more.

Then everyone is invited to get moving to the incredible line-up of performers, including Soulganic and Club Havana as this year’s headliners!

At the Main stage, on St Pauls Street, there will be entertainment from a range of talented local bands and performers. While at the Harmony Stage, on Perouse Road, there will be Japanese dancing, belly dancing, an international crew of break dancers and a Latin band specialising in Cuban Salsa, Timba, Reggaeton and rhythms from the Caribbean!

Road closures and clearways will take place as well as minimal changes to bus services. Please see our website for more information.
