Prepare for swinging, swaying and record playing! For two days in June, Coogee Bay Road and The Spot, Randwick will come alive as we hold a street party at the two locations to revitalise the area and entice you all to come out and support local businesses.

The street parties, which have been funded by Investment NSW's street party initiative, will transform Coogee Beach and The Spot into fiesta-themed parties.

The Coogee Beach Road street fiesta (Saturday 4 June) will  be full of fun and dancing with a Latino theme. DJ  Fasmwa will provide the music, there will be capoeira, Brazilian drumming and dancers, reggae music by Kool Vibration and Club Havana will close the night with their Latino beats.

At The Spot (Sunday 5 June) you'll experience a little bit of New Orleans. Crawfish Po'boys will fill the day with jazz and blues while Kaleidoscope Dream will bring the party vibes in the evening.

Throughout both days, there will be roving entertainment to entertain the kids.

Randwick Mayor Dylan Parker said the street parties planned for Coogee and The Spot would be a celebration of culture and neighbourhood connection. “After 2 years of being cooped up, our community has rediscovered their own streets and neighbourhoods. Bringing movement, music, food and drink to where people live is just what we all need."

We hope you’ll come out and support local businesses by enjoying some food and taking advantage of the extended outdoor dining areas that will pop-up for the day.

There will be something for everyone! Bring your family, kids, friends, neighbours and even your four-legged friends along to join in the fun.
