Bronze Medallion

Would you like to spend summer at the beach as part of the surf lifesaving community? You can register to complete your Bronze Medallion through one of our local surf lifesaving clubs.

The Bronze Medallion Certificate II in Public Safety (Aquatic Rescue) is the core award required to become a surf life saver around Australia.

You’ll learn surf skills, resuscitation techniques, basic first aid and important rescue techniques.

To complete a course you need to be:

Maroubra Surf Life Saving Club
Maroubra SLSC runs several Bronze Medallion and Surf Rescue Certificate courses every year.
